Mira is from a breeding we orchestrated with a view to the future. This intentional breeding yielded a pedigree that lines up well with some of the males in our breeding program. Both of her parents and all four of her grandparents have earned UT titles. Equally important, she is from a breeding between two dogs that excel as hunting dogs in the field, forest and water. The breeding appears to have paid off in that she herself is demonstrating a strong pointing instinct, strong field search, and prey drive. She also has a sweet temperament when not working, which we feel is a trait that can’t be overvalued.
