Kindle was such an easy dog to train to a finished level that had she been our first, we would have learned very little about training a versatile hunting dog. This was evident in the fact that she nailed a Utility Prize I, and nearly maximum score, on her first attempt
at a mere 1 year and 7 months old. She is a sight to behold when in search of downed waterfowl, and she has been known to break ice on cold morning retrieves. She has no quit. Her drive, build and coat combination make for an excellent waterfowl dog. After showing her what was expected for the NAVHDA Utility Test Duck Search all we had to do was turn her loose and watch her do her thing. In the field, Kindle points well and is a strong retriever. She hunts at a close to medium range. She is a very cooperative hunting companion overall. She has an excellent temperament for field and home, displaying confidence, and getting along well with all she meets.
